We’re thrilled to introduce the newest members of the Portsmouth CASA family: Ms. Minerva Delva and Ms. Betty Meadows! These two incredible individuals have recently been sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates, adding their dedication and passion to our mission of advocating for children in need.
On January 11, 2024, Chief Judge Diane P. Griffin of the Portsmouth Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court administered the oath, officially welcoming Minerva and Betty into our CASA program. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them on board.
As CASA advocates, Minerva and Betty will serve as powerful voices for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring that their best interests are always at the forefront of decision-making processes. Their advocacy will provide vital support and guidance to these children as they navigate the complexities of the legal system and strive to find safe and loving homes.
To those inspired by Minerva and Betty’s dedication and eager to make a difference themselves, we invite you to learn more about becoming a CASA. Visit www.fopjc.org for information on how you can join us in advocating for the well-being of children in our community.
Please join us in congratulating Minerva Delva and Betty Meadows on their swearing-in as CASA advocates! Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of children in Portsmouth.
